As I have gotten older, I realize that my Mother was so so right... life is too short and the kids grow up so fast. Today is my 23rd wedding anniversary (where has the time gone??) and my children are so independent. I was just talking to my husband about how the little things they need don't annoy me anymore because I know that I have just a short amount of time left to 'mother' them. I hope they will look back at their childhood one day and smile knowing how much they are loved.
I have been a faithful reader of the Katie Bloom blog and her recovery is so precious to me as I know that 3 small children and a wonderful husband need her desperately to be fully recovered. I know that God will use their story in a big way and I urge anyone reading this to find the blog and pray for the Bloom Family.
