Inspire Me...

I am off to another week and life is getting too hectic. I feel ineffective this morning... kind of in a fog. So, I've been searching other blogs for inspiration. Then I realized how un-inspiring my blog is... time to change that! My ineffective feeling is set asside right now so that I can let God in and He can control my day and my attitude. Time to focus on Him and His amazing LOVE. The beautiful minds that have created so many wonderful thoughts about Him that I have read this morning cause me to just fall to my knees in awe. I realize that God wants to use me up, but he also wants me to take time with Him in the process. I have been so busy being used that I haven't spent time noticing God's work around me. Hurricane Ike has hit my area and many of us are still trying to gather the pieces of our lives so that we can put them together again. My take is that God doesn't want the same old pieces to our lives. He wants to create NEW pieces and give us hope in Him. He is sufficient to meet ALL of our needs! I've been reading "Fields of Gold" by Andy Stanley. It is so appropriate for what Ike has done to our area. Read 2 Corinthians 9:6-11 and ENJOY! Now I'm off to find my inspiration in Jesus Christ today!
